This pile represents bycatch that commercial fishing creates on a daily basis. The majority of bycatch is killed or injured in the process of being caught and returned to the ocean. This is a huge problem.

Only 25% of commercial fishing in the world is considered to use sustainable methods of fishing. The other 75% is what is ruining our reefs and our fish stocks.

This is a print of a giant fish. This is a protected fish that i found washed up dead on the beach. The fish washed up while I was diving so I knew it was some what fresh. I decided to print the the giant. I used water based non-toxic inks, and took every precaution to clean him when the print was done. After cleaning I returned the him to the ocean.

Worldwide there is 42 million tons of sea life caught by accident.
